Setting The Power (Wattage)

To check the power (wattage) setting that the device is set to, simply press the "P" button for a few moments (approx 3 seconds) until the display shows "P" and the current setting (for example "P 7.5") and let go. Should you wish to change the setting, you now have about 2 seconds to do this (before the display turns off) by pressing the "P" button repeatedley until your desired setting is displayed.

The display will cycle from P6 to P11 (in 0.5 steps). We recommend starting at the lowest setting (6.0) before trying a higher setting. Note that the last setting, will be remembered.

Please note that just before the display shows the current setting - the first number that always appears is the Puff Counter. This shows how many puffs have been taken (or more accurately how many times the main button has been pressed) since the unit was last turned on - ignore this - and a second later, the unit will show the current power setting, prefixed with a "P" as in the image below.

Why would you need to change the wattage? Well, this is the real beauty of a variable wattage (VW) device because tweaking the power can dramatically change your vaping experience. You can increase the power to intensify the flavour of your liquid and also to increase vapour production. Tobacco based flavours will usually withstand more power than fruit flavours, but the power settings work well with most types. Note that the same could actually be said for changing the voltage, but wattage is less harsh and therefore more effective - wattage wins every time.
